Our three and four year olds focus on broadening vocabulary through a playful and relaxed approach to German. The curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through play in a structured environment, as play is the serious work of young children. They hear the language spoken by teachers and other children, they speak themselves and sing German songs.

Our children enrich their vocabulary and focus on first grammatical structures through theme based activities. Reading and writing in German is gradually introduced.

The children concentrate on broadening their listening and reading skills, as well as writing and grammar.

Students deepen their oral and written communication skills through age appropriate use of literature and focus on geography, history, and cultural studies of German speaking countries. Depending on the language skills of the students, they are offered to take A2 language exams.

Students study more challenging German literature themes, while still focusing on grammar, vocabulary expansion, geography, history, and cultural studies of German speaking countries. These are crucial steps for preparing for the final German language exam (“Sprachdiplom”), which fulfills the language requirements to enter a university or college in a German speaking country.

We offer individual classes online for all ages and levels. Instructors are our German school teachers, all of whom are native German speakers. Whether you want to learn German for fun, work, travel, or school, you can achieve specific, realistic, and personalized goals and skills.

We offer classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. Originally the classes were founded to allow non German speaking parents of children attending the German School to learn the language. Over time, the courses have grown and today accommodate a mix of adult learners.
